Pulse Volleyball

Pulse Volleyball was created to provide more variety and opportunity to athletes that love the game of volleyball.  Lets be honest...there are a variety of volleyball clubs out there.  So why choose Pulse?  First and foremost it is an opportunity for athletes to receive instruction from coaches that have a vast knowledge of the game.  Pulse Volleyball's coaching staff has a combined 30+ years of coaching experience. Our coaches are former and current collegiate athletes as well as respected coaches of some downriver area high schools.  Constantly updating their skills set in how to teach the game of volleyball, our coaches pride themselves on the love for the game they have developed over the years.  This passion will be what allows your daughter to grow as a player in our club.

Pulse Volleyball Club Clinics

Levels

Pulse Volleyball is excited to bring a twist to their standard clinics. We are now offering different levels of skills for our Serving and Mini Club Clinics.

You will see three different levels of each clinic being offered. Please pay attention to the skill level attached to each level. There will be three levels: Blue, Orange and White

We have evolved the levels of training over the past few months. Athletes may not qualify for same clinic level every month. It is dependent on the other talent level committed to that month of training. We want every athlete to excel when they attend the clinics. This means that your athlete may qualify for blue level one month because they matched the talent of blue level that month. However, the next month blue level may be highly accelerated and your athlete may or may not be that level. We will then place your athlete at the orange level.

We need parents to understand we are here to help your athlete's grow. We know you want what's best for your athlete. But please understand...so do we! If we do not see your athlete is technically sound to move to the next level, we will not move them. This is to encourage proper development of your athlete. It is not personal. We are doing what's best for your athlete. You are paying for us to train your athlete's...please trust us to do that!

Blue Level

At this level athletes should be able to:

  • maintain performance consistency = 75-100%
    • able to complete all skills at 75% or better
  • maintain proper skill mechanics performed at all times
  • have team playing experience (including school or club)

Orange Level

At this level athletes will:

  • demonstrate performance consistency = 50-75%
  • develop more fluid skill development
  • have limited game/team experience
    • limited minutes in a game
    • limited touches on the ball

White Level

At this level athletes will:

  • demonstrate performance consistency at less than 50%
  • have limited skill development and/or limited proper skill mechanics
  • have limited game/team experience

Who determines the level?

All levels will be determined initially by the athlete and parent according to our requirements established. If the athlete is unable to compete on the first day of the clinic, they will be notified at the end of that clinic. The parent will then be called and the athlete will be placed in the proper clinic that fits their talent level.
